Title: Electromechanical technician (Robotics & Automation) (NOC: 2241)

Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Day

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: 2010/01/25

Location: Dundas, Ontario (2 vacancies )

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Area of Specialization: Development, Testing, Production, Operation

Type of Industry Experience: Consulting firm, Energy, Electrical utilities, Electronic equipment manufacturing, Manufacturing, Aerospace industry

Type of Equipment, Systems and Controls Experience: Robotic equipment and systems, Electric motors, generators, drives and motor controls, Programmable controller devices, Electronic testing equipment and systems, Industrial processes

Specific Skills: Install, maintain and service equipment, Inspect and maintain facilities, Conduct research and development, Ensure process and product development, Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, Operate electronic equipment, Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications

Work Location Information: In shop, On-site customer service

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
